Praise Choir – Our seasoned singers which provide the liturgical music for each Sunday service.

Men of Faith – Our select men’s chorus which gives us spiritual music on Sundays and special occasions.

Women's Ministry Program

Our monthly Women’s Ministry group develops a creative, supportive fellowship as we address spiritual and social issues that impact children and women.

All women are invited to join us. We serve refreshments, prayer and spiritual teachings as well as programs of interest and information (some examples have been Big Y/dietician, Stroke info, Women’s safety, and a Master Gardener presentation.)  We also plan our church's outreach events.

Men's Ministry Program

Our monthly Men’s Ministry Program serves breakfast and offers a time for prayers, spiritual teachings, and fellowship. We invite all men to join us.

Safe Net Ministries

Along with other area churches, we partner with Safe Net Ministries to provide food, clothing, and utility assistance. For more information or to volunteer call 860.851.9987 and leave a message with a call back number.

Flo’s Friendship Kitchen

FUMC hosts Flo’s Friendship Kitchen on Wednesdays and Fridays. Lunch is served on Wednesday from 11:00am to 11:30am and dinner is served on Fridays from 4:00pm-4:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Home delivery of meals can be arranged for each day’s meal. If you’d like to volunteer, please visit our contact page and leave a message.

Prayer Chain

We have an ongoing prayer chain where congregation's prayer requests are distributed to people who will pray daily over the names and needs. You can join this chain by contacting us here.
